1. Secure the alignment of the economic framework
Validate the Business Plan (BP Y+3 at family level) with category manager and Zone Merch Planner Manager, and write the demand tactics in line with the sport's demand strategy (formalized by the Zone Merchandise Planner Manager ex SCM).
Build and validate the range costing (number of products to select in the offer) in connection with the Category Manager aligned with the Business Plan Y+1.
Initialise stock piloting and define target inventory levels (stock norm), aligned with my area's inventories and demand tactics.
Validate the sales and purchase summary of the selected offer in connection with the BP and the range costing.
Pilot my activity, analyze my demand reporting, and decide on action plans to achieve the objectives.
2. Pilot & ensure the reliability of sales across various time horizons
Forecast sales quantities at the super-model level for a 2-year horizon (tactical horizon)
Forecast sales quantities during Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for the next season (pre-season)
Forecast sales of the selected range for the next season (pre-season).
Initiate, analyze, and adjust sales forecasts in-season and until the end of the product's life cycle. (Manage accurate forecasts till end of life of my products by ensuring accurate forecasts for efficient dispatch (FAST forecast))
Ensure the alignment between economical piloting and sales forecasting
3. Ensure reliable purchase planning
Build a 2-year purchase plan of supermodel from sales forecasts, factoring in new business models industrial feedback, and 3-year business plan alignment.Calculate RFQ purchase quantities, taking stock levels into account (pre-season).
Validate purchase forecasts for the next season's selection (pre-season).
Initiate, analyze, and adjust purchase parameters in-season and until the end of the commercial season, to plan purchasing needs.
Prepare the right implantation quantity of my products for my network based on the implantation tactic for my perimeter.
Communicate changes in purchasing needs via the sport/production S&OE tracking.
Manage my purchase throughout the season and adapt based on season TOP/FLOP decisions supply and/or commercial.
4. Manage pricing & data referencing
Define the target contract price based on the recommended retail price received from the category manager at the RFQ stage.
Implement on my perimeter the sport’s markup policy and jointly define margins and selling prices for my selection, in line with my area's pricing policy.
Manage the purchase price modifications (price events) during the season.
Propose recommended retail price modifications during the season including CPD to commercial director
Manage referencing of AMI products with information provided by Category Manager
5.Manage stock distribution parameters
Define global logistics parameters (UOM) at the base camp level during selection
Define parameters related to store stock within the merchandising framework defined by Category Merchandiser (minimum merchandising, IQ), blocking of articles, Logistics Class calculation during selection.
Collaborate with ZDP on dispatch tactic definition, ensuring alignment with the demand tactics
