Bang Na, Thailand
Ready to turn your passion for sports and languages into impact? At Decathlon, we believe that providing the best digital experience for our Sports Users starts with clear, accurate, and inspiring product information.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, energetic Content & Localisation Intern to join our team! In this role, you won't just be translating words; you will be "culturalizing" our brand for the Thai community. By ensuring our online sports catalog is highly accurate, perfectly laid out, and culturally relevant, your work will directly help athletes find the exact gear they need—ultimately driving our digital sales and boosting turnover!
Scope of work
Localize to Win: Adapt and translate sport-related content (product descriptions, sport categories, and guides) from English to Thai. You will make sure the tone sounds natural, professional, and resonates with local Thai athletes.
Optimize for Sales: Transform raw product data from suppliers into high-quality, high-converting product cards. You will ensure the layout is accurate, relevant, and optimized to generate higher sales turnover.
Digital Asset Master: Manage product imagery and visual layouts. You’ll audit live product pages to ensure no missing images (JPG/PNG) and that the visual journey is seamless for our shoppers.
Tech & SEO Ninja: Use tools like Phrase, Transline, Masterdata, and Gemini Pro. You will apply SEO strategies and AI prompting to enhance content quality and searchability.
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with our Senior Sport Experts and E-commerce team to guarantee technical accuracy and an unbeatable online shopping experience.
Qualification
A Sports Enthusiast: You practice a sport and understand the "on-the-field" language athletes use.
A Language Lover: You have a strong command of English and fluency in Thai (Written). You know how to paraphrase, summarize, and use inclusive, bias-free language effectively.
Detail-Oriented & Commercially Minded: You catch double spaces and missing commas at a glance, and you understand that a perfectly accurate product page leads directly to a customer making a purchase.
Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable working with online databases, systems, and have a "dare to question" mindset to constantly improve our processes.
Duration of internship: 3 to 6 months
